Lymphangioma
A lymphangioma is a proliferation of lymphatic vessels presenting as one or more intracutaneous papules or nodules.
Lymphangiomas may be part of a more extensive problem of abnormal lymphatics, or can be localized as lymphangioma circumscriptum.
Treatment:
- If localized, surgical excision or ablation with cautery or laser is often possible.
- Recurrence is common.
