Nodular amyloidosis

Nodules, often surmounted by atrophic hemorrhagic skin, can appear almost anywhere on the skin.
It can be associated with the eventual development of systemic amyloidosis, but many lesions remain localized.

Treatment:

  • Intralesional triamcinolone diacetate 5-10 mg/ml is sometimes effective.
