Generalized essential telangiectasia
Generalized essential telangiectasia is the acquisition of large mats of telangiectatic vessels.
These sheets of vessels can occasionally bleed on minor trauma.
Mucous membranes and sclera can be affected.
Treatment:
- Symptomatic or bothersome vessels can be treated with the 585 nanometer pulsed dye laser.
