White sponge nevus
White sponge nevus is an autosomal dominant trait where the mucosa is thickened and folded into white plaques.
Gingival margins are rarely involved.
White sponge nevus is not premalignant.
It is important to differentiate these lesions from dysplastic leukoplakia.
Treatment:
- No treatment is necessary.
